Ved å delta i dette korte hybridkurset, vil deltakerne lære å øve på kommunikasjon og presentasjoner gjennom ulike interaktive konsepter.
Å forstå kommunikasjonsevner er, gjennom verbalt og visuelt innhold, vil lette mestringen til deltakerne når det gjelder å skape gode presentasjoner.
Innhold og metodikk:
Kurset " er skapt for å utvikle "myke" ferdigheter som kan være av avgjørende betydning ikke bare i profesjonelle miljøer, men også i dagliglivet.
Forelesningene vil gi innsikt i ny forskning på kommunikasjon og presentasjoner. Dette vil bli gjort i en tverrfaglig ramme der perspektiver fra filosofi, sosiologi og psykologi vil krysse stier med innovative tilnærminger fra kunstfeltet.
Aktivitetene på kurset i kurset er delt inn i tre kategorier:
Deltakerne vil lære og øve på presentasjoner og kommunikasjonsevner gjennom ulike interaktive konsepter.
Å forstå kommunikasjonsevner gjennom verbalt og visuelt innhold vil lette mestringen til deltakerne når det gjelder å skape passende presentasjoner (Ppt eller Prezi).
Ved fullføring av kurset, bør deltakerne ha forbedret sin personlige evne til å kommunisere og presentere.
Deltakerne vil de ta i bruk retoriske stiler og de vil opparbeide kunnskap om deres egne individuelle kommunikasjonspreferanser og -stiler.
Under opplæringen skal også deltakerne opparbeide kunnskap om nonverbal kommunikasjon som mennesker bruker i dagliglivet. Bevisstheten om hvordan kroppen vår fungerer mens vi kommuniserer (gestenes teori) kan hjelpe oss å forstå andre og bidra til å formidle klare ideer til vårt publikum.
Dette er spesielt viktig siden vi presenterer våre meldinger i stadig mer kulturelt mangfoldige og komplekse miljøer. Et av foredrag omhandler såkalt "tilgjengelig kommunikasjon" som som belyser hvordan et "kommunikasjonsmiljø" kan tilpasses personer med spesielle behov.
Den nettbaserte delen av kurset vil finne sted den 5. og 12. oktober fra 10:00 til 14:00 CET.
Delen med fysisk deltakelse skjer 19. og 20. oktober fra 10:00 til 14:00.

The participants will receive a scholarship for travel and subsistence. The participants will be contacted by the EUGLOH team at their home university to get more information.
By participating in this short hybrid credit-bearing course, participants will learn and practise successful communication and presentation through various interactive concepts.
Understanding communication skills through verbal and visual content will facilitate the mastery of participants in creating suitable presentations.
Content and Methodology:
The course "Communication and Presentation Skills in Professional Environment" is created to develop the today’s extremely important soft skills that are used not just in professional environments, but also in everyday life.
The lectures will demonstrate the latest scientific results connected with the phenomena of communication and presentation (performance).
This will be done in an interdisciplinary frame where the aspects of philosophy, sociology and psychology will cross paths with innovative approaches from the field of art.
In order to train the participants, the activities of the course are divided into three categories:
The participants will learn and practice presentations and communication skills through various interactive concepts.
Understanding communication skills through verbal and visual content will facilitate the mastery of the participants in creating suitable presentations (Ppt or Prezi).
Upon completion of the course, participants should have enhanced their personal ability to communicate and present.
For this purpose they will be using professional rhetoric and have a working knowledge of their individual communication preferences and styles.
An additional focus of the training is to familiarize participants with the knowledge of nonverbal communication that humans use in everyday life.
The consciousness of how our body works while we are communicating (the theory of gestures) helps to understand others and helps to convey clear ideas to our audiences.
This is especially important since we are presenting our messages in increasingly culturally diverse and complex environments.
A special lecture will be devoted to the so-called “accessible communications” that include knowledge about the importance of creating the “communicational environment” suitable for persons with special needs, too.
The online part of the coursewill take place on the 5th and 12th of October from 10:00 to 14:00 CET.
The onsite part will take place on the 19th and 20th of October from 10:00 to 14:00.

Requirements:
Selection strategy: Everyone who feels they would like to improve their communication and presentation skills should apply. There are no prerequisites regarding the applicants academic background.
Participants should write a motivation letter (max. 200 words) in which they describe why they would like to attend the course.
