Scholarship for Master's Students Engaged in Gender-Related Research
The Centre for Women’s and Gender Research annually offers a scholarship of NOK 25,000 to a Master's student whose thesis explores gender-related topics. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master's program at UiT, the Arctic University of Norway. Typically, the scholarship is awarded to a second-year Master's student.
This scholarship aims to cover additional expenses associated with fieldwork or other costs related to completing the Master's thesis. Recipients of the scholarship will also be provided with office space at The Centre for Women’s and Gender Research. Upon thesis submission, recipients must submit a two-page report detailing the utilization of the additional funding.
Application requirements include:
- Applicant's name, address, and email
- Confirmation of enrollment in a UiT Master's program
- Master's thesis outline (approximately 3 pages), preferably approved by the student's department
- Proposal for the use of the scholarship
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Transcript of grades from previous studies
- Any other pertinent documentation
Evaluation of applications will consider previous academic performance, project feasibility and originality, and the proposed utilization of the supplementary funds.
