Abel lecture by Abel laureate Luis A. Caffarelli

The Abel prize 2023 will be awared to Luis A. Caffarelli

“for his seminal contributions to regularity theory for nonlinear partial differential equations including free-boundary problems and the Monge–Ampère equation.”

Following the prize ceremony in Oslo, Professor Cafarelli will visit Tromsø on the 25th of May and hold a lecture intended for a general audience at the University at 14:15 to which everybody is cordially invited. Prior to the lecture we will serve coffee and waffles.
