Free guided tour at night: highlights at the Arctic University Museum
Ten exhibitions with natural and cultural science themes might be a big mouthful! However, during late-open museum Wednesday September 16 we will give you the highlights of the exhibitions in a special guided tour.
Covering Norway north of the Arctic Circle as well as the Arctic regions, the museum offers stories of stubborn survival, of generous beauty and vivid wildlife. Whether you prefer insects or indigenous people, Gothic sculpture or archaeology, this museum provides you with fascinating facts on nature and culture in Northern Norway.
The tour is held by Per Helge Nylund, who is widely regarded as an inspiring communicator.

The event is part of the Wednesday at the Museum series ("Onsdag på museet"), featuring extended opening hours and special events one evening each month at The Arctic University Museum. On the same evening, you are welcome to explore the exhibitions and take part in other activities happening throughout the museum.
