Do you use Open Science Framework (OSF)? Have you heard about the upcoming changes? Join us to discuss OSF changes and hear about alternative solutions for data sharing and archiving.

About the topic

Many researchers in Norway use Open Science Framework (OSF) to store, share and archive different research outputs, including data, materials and code. OSF has recently announced major changes to the platform, including phasing out the part of the platform used for project collaboration, file management, and storage.

In this session, we will briefly summarize the main changes to the OSF platform and present alternative solutions for sharing and archiving of data and other research outputs. We will review platforms such as DataverseNO and Zenodo, and provide recommendations for resources and best practices in data sharing. There will also be time for questions and discussion.

Grab your ‘matpakke’ and join us for the Open Science Lunch on solutions for data sharing and archiving with Dr Agata Bochynska (UiO) and Dr Emma Walton (NTNU) - and a team of researchers, librarians and data managers!
