Om e-konferansen om bærekraftsmål 14: Livet under vann
E-konferansen om bærekraftsmål 14: Livet under vann vil utforske beskyttelse av marine økosystemer og fremme av bærekraftig praksis for fiske og havbruk.
Diskusjonene vil ta for seg påvirkningen av menneskelige aktiviteter, som forurensning og overfiske, på livet i havet, samt viktigheten av internasjonalt samarbeid for å bevare marin biodiversitet.
Foredragsholder fra UiT:
Audun Rikardsen, Professor ved UiTs Institutt for arktisk og marin biologi skal holde en presentasjon under webinaret. Han vil fortelle om sin forskning på marinbiologi og hvordan det er vevet sammen med hans karriere som naturfotograf.

The EUGLOH E-Conferences Series on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), launched in 2023, brings together experts, academics, and students from across the EUGLOH Alliance. These digital events aim to showcase cutting-edge research, initiatives, and best practices related to the SDGs, with each e-conference focusing on one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The objective of this series is to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among universities, enabling participants to take actionable steps towards sustainability.
About the E-Conference on SDG 14: Life Below Water
The e-conference on SDG 14: Life Below Water will explore the protection of marine ecosystems and the promotion of sustainable ocean practices.
Discussions will address the impacts of human activities, such as pollution and overfishing, on aquatic life, as well as the importance of international cooperation in safeguarding marine biodiversity.
Speaker from UiT:
Audun Rikardsen, Professor at UiT's Department of Arctic and Marine Biology, will give a presentation during the webinar. He will reflect on his research on marine biology and how it is intertwined with his career in nature photography.
