From Poles to People

This event will bring together polar early career individuals and participants of the two-day workshop "From ICARP IV to the next International Polar Year". Everyone that is interested in the poles or cryosphere and would like to connect with others working in polar professions is welcome.

We will start with a brief introduction to two major collaborative efforts in the polar community: the Fourth International Conference on Arctic Research Planning (ICARP IV) & the next International Polar Year (IPY). This will be followed by a few informal games and activities; the rest of the evening is reserved for open mingling. There will be free pizza throughout the night and drinks will be available for purchase.
