UiT’s Centre for Arctic Humanities and the professional choir Vokal Nord are experimenting with a new format for research, learning, and communication that fuses art and science. Our multimodal performance, “Time is a Ship that Never Casts Anchor,” interweaves music, literature, history, and natural sciences, challenging the audience with the concept of time. The performance will soon be presented for the general public in Tromsø, Narvik, and Harstad.
In this internal session, we aim to discuss the concept, outline our objectives, and present some of the dialogues for a tasting and feedback. This session will be in Norwegian language. It may be of interest to anyone working in cross- or trans-disciplinary research, environmental humanities, applied sciences, artistic research, or research communication.
