Tromsø: American Niceness at Home and Abroad

Join Carrie Tirado Bramen and Adam Vandervort for a discussion of the history and impact of American Niceness. 

Professor Bramen, author of American Niceness: A Cultural History (Harvard UP, 2017), will unfold the history of the concept. Adam, the US Embassy representative to the American Presence Post in Tromsø, will discuss its diplomatic implications.
