CALLING all STUDENTS - CloudEARTHi BOOSTalent presents "Student Startup BOOST Camp"
Would you see yourself as a green entrepreneur with an impactful sustainable project in mind ?
The Student Startup BOOST Camp will launch you into the world of startups. In just 2.5 days, you will meet the very best mentors and learn how to think like an entrepreneur to launch your very own company.
Meet like-minded people, learn new skills and have something to add to your CV!
In just 2.5 days, you will learn how to define and communicate the why, how and what of your research, or business idea using frameworks and tools from the entrepreneurial world.
You will identify the impact of your ideas and how it qualifies as a solution for a stakeholder’s problem and adds value to society and the environment.
You will increase your communication skills, explore your customers and your business planning using the award-winning University of Edinburgh sustainable business framework, The Earth Centred Business Design.
You will follow the practical steps developed by the University of Edinburgh, Venture Builder Incubator program to grow your business idea and meet the very best mentors.
The methods and structure provided in the workshop will build your confidence and develop your idea presentations skills.
Seize the opportunity to share experiences and engage on entrepreneurial discussions with each of the five BOOSTalent institutions.
Activities include:
Feel free to bring a laptop, mobile, chargers with you, and we will have plenty of flip charts, post-it notes and pens, as well as snacks, to keep your creative energy flowing
BOOST camps will be held in person simultaneously in each city of the BOOSTalent institutions (UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, Technical University of Varna, FH Burgenland, Istanbul Kultur University and Kyiv Academic University) and will be broadcast live to other teams who are part of the CloudEARTHi community who wish to join.

There will also be a social event on the 24th of April as part of your institution’s BOOST camp. At UiT, we will have an informal event to discuss and share ideas around entrepreneurship and sustainability. Pizzas, snacks and drinks will be served as well!

Attending the Student Startup BOOST Camp, gives you the opportunity to participate in your Institution’s selection process to present your startup at the “Startups Showcase Day” during the annual CloudEARTHi conference on 27-29 June 2024 to be held in Varna, Bulgaria.
