Vi skal dykke ned i havet.   
Vi skal besøke en skog helt utenom det vanlige: 
havets skog - tareskogen. 

Utstillinga tar deg med til livet i tareskogen langs norskekysten. Tareskog er viktige oaser for livet i havet og på land; den er matfat, gjemmested, barnehage og bølgedemper på én gang. Men hva skjer når kråkebollene legger tareskogen øde? Utstillinga viser livet i havets oase, hvilke ressurser tareskogen utgjør for oss mennesker og hvordan vi kan arbeide for å verne den. 

Det blir korte innlegg ved 

• Ann Eileen Lennert, The Arctic Sustainability Lab, UiT Norges arktiske universitet
• David Gonzalez, fotograf/filmfotograf 
• Delphin Ruché og Anita Holmgren, med stiftelsen Wild Lab Projects, engasjerer folk i restaurering av tareskog rundt Tromsø og har bidratt til å samle inn materialer til utstillingen. 
• Earnie Roby-Tomic og Ismet Bachtiar, Kreativ Teknologi (Tvibit), har jobbet med utstillingas VR-komponent.

Hold your breath!  
We are going to dive into the sea. 
Let’s go visit a forest unlike any other 
- the forest of the sea – the kelp forest.  

The exhibition takes you to life in the kelp forests along the Norwegian coast. Kelp forests are important oases for life in sea and on land; providing food, shelter, a safe space for offspring to grow – and even dampening big waves. But what happens when the grazing sea urchins leave the kelp forests barren? The exhibition presents life in the oases of the ocean, what kind of resource the kelp forest is for humans, and how we can work to protect it. 

There will be short presentations by 

• Ann Eileen Lennert, The Arctic Sustainability Lab, UiT The Arctic University of Norway
• David Gonzalez, photographer/cinematographer 
• Delphin Ruché and Anita Holmgren, with the nonprofit Wild Lab Projects, engage the public in restoring the kelp forest around Tromsø and have contributed to collecting materials for the exhibition. 
• Earnie Roby-Tomic and Ismet Bachtiar, Kreativ Teknologi (Tvibit), developers of the VR-component in the exhibition
