Indigenous and minority topics and perspectives in teacher education

This conference aims at bringing together researchers and teacher educators involved or interested in indigenous and minority topics and perspectives in teacher education. We welcome researchers and educators who work with Indigenous perspectives in education on the Northern Calotte (e.g. Sápmi), or the Norwegian national minorities: Kvens/Norwegian Finns, Jews, Forest Finns, Roma and Romani people, but will also be open for contributions focusing on other indigenous or minority contexts. We are particularly interested in opportunities and challenges related to indigenous and minority topics in teacher education (qualifying for work in kindergarten, primary education or upper secondary school), and decolonizing perspectives.
