It will no longer be possible to forward UiT-e-mail automatically

Have you been automatically forwarding your UiT e-mails to your private inbox? As of October 15th, this will end. Automatic forwarding will be switched off, and you must log on to your UiT e-mail to read messages you receive there.

The measure is part of the security work at UiT and is intended to reduce the risk of digital attacks and personal data getting lost.

Don't miss important messages!

When UiT sends you e-mails, we use your UiT e-mail address.

Therefore, from October 15th you should regularly log into and check your UiT e-mail, so you don’t miss important information.

You are responsible for reading the messages we send you, and you will not receive any kind of notification if there are unread e-mails in your inbox.

Read the UiT e-mail online or on your mobile phone

Before October 15th, you should check how to read your UiT e-mail online. You should also consider whether to set up the e-mail on your mobile, if you have not already done so.

Then you avoid missing important information, and you get easier access to your UiT e-mails.

Here you find information on how to read the e-mail in a browser and how to set it up on your phone.
