The focus on critical thinking is evident both in school and university, but which opportunities and challenges follow such a focus?

Welcome to a full day seminar with lectures and a panel discussion with three lecturers from different areas within the field of educational research:

10.30 – 10.45: Break

10.45 – 11.45:

Trond Solhaug, professor in social science didactics and pedagogy, NTNU/UiT:

Critical Research – Can we overcome the challenges? A critical look at educational research.

12.00 – 13.00: Lunch break (bring your own lunch)

13.00 – 14.00:

Tamsin Meaney, professor in mathematics didactics, HVL:

What is the relationship between critical thinking and critical mathematics education?

14.00 – 14.15: Break

14.15 – 15.30: Panel discussion with all the lecturers.
