In 2018 the University of Tromsø Celebrates its 50-
year anniversary.The first IFM-students arrived in
Tromsø in August 1998 and hundreds of former
IFM-students are found all over the world. The idea
leading to the IFM programme – to provide fisheries
managers with a multidisciplinary toolbox is more
relevant than ever. To celebrate the anniversary we
invite you to participate in the anniversary conference
at UiT. The conference is an opportunity to get
an update on the development of IFM, new and exciting
trends in fisheries management, and to meet
