Walk and taste tour of Tromsø - IMB day

As an additional social event in connection with IMB-day, we are arranging a joyful and refreshing tour in the city center of Tromsø from 16.00 until 18.00. We will visit three different cafés/restaurants, where we will be given an introduction, and a taste, of different types of beverages. There will be a presentation of various Norwegian beers from the microbrewery Aass Bryggeri in Drammen at “Cirka” by bar manager Rune Nilssen. He will also present a non-alcoholic beer. Toril Fagerheim, who is a WSET3 certified wine expert and an employee at the Health Faculty, will then present to us two different red wines at “Svermeriet”. Finally, as a special treat, the world’s northernmost distiller, Gjermund Stensrud, will present new spirits from Aurora Spirit at “Steakers.” The walking tour will start at 16:00 outside Pastafabrikken.
