Great White Sharks of South Africa

Dr. Alessandro De Maddalena, one of the major shark experts in the world, is visiting Tromsø Museum to give this lecture accompanied by magnificent photographs.

Dr. De Maddalena has taken part in16 expeditions organized in South Africa from 2010 with Apex Shark Expeditions. The lecture covers the biology and predatory tactics of the great white shark, field observations of the great white sharks and cage diving in the False Bay, South Africa.

Alessandro De Maddalena is the author of 19 books and approx one hundred scientific and popular articles on sharks, that have appeared in 18 Nations.

The lecture will be given in English. After the talk one may purchase dr. De Maddalenas books on sharks, signed by the author.
