New digital PCR technology arrived in Tromsø

At the Department of Clinical Dentistry (IKO) we would like to inform our colleagues about the presence of the QX200™ Droplet Digital™ PCR System (ddPCR) in our new research laboratory. The system is the first of its kind in Tromsø. With unrivaled precision, the ddPCR provides absolute quantification of target DNA or RNA molecules without the use of standard curves.

We are open to research collaboration with any research groups at the university for projects that could benefit of the ddPCR technology. For more information about ddPCR, its workflow and what its possible applications in research, please see: http://www.bio-rad.com/webroot/web/pdf/lsr/literature/Bulletin_6407.pdf
