Panel debate
In order to make the Summer School relevant to the place we are and the actual challenges and opportunities people face here we have invited a number of people to a panel debate on Thursday at 1300. The students will participate with questions and opinions from their standpoint.
Some key elements in the debate will be:
- Human health challenges in this area
- Food security issues and the use of local resources
- Local industries as a source of contamination or a source of income
- Climate change issues
- Increased industrial activity and migration
- Community concerns
