Research Interests/Activities in the Winter project:Lina Mittelbach started her PhD in 2014. Her research focuses on landscape representations of Arctic Norway, and winter holidaymakers' perceptions of these landscapes. Lina's research is related to WP1 “Winter Tourism Activities: Soft and Hard Adventures” and WP4 “Aurora Borealis: Tourism Performances and Symbolic Meanings”. Her studies target French and German mixed-gender travel parties in Arctic Norway, and Lina also explores information accessible through guidebooks and Web 2.0 platforms, such as social media sites.
