Reproductive toxicity and transgenerational effects of petroleum mixtures in fish (ToxiGen)

Meet Abby Chapman, ToxiGen's new PhD candidate

I am a PhD student in Aquatic Ecotoxicology, interested in mechanistic toxicology and the effects of exposure to various toxicants on fish populations. I will be studying the effects of crude oil on the reproductive success of fish using zebrafish as a model species, but also the arctic key species polar cod Boreogadus saida. I completed my B.S. in Ecology for Environmental Science and my M.S. in Aquatic Toxicology at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.
