ROOTS/CIRCUITS is an experimental exhibition exploring the relationship between visual art, sound, technology, space and human perception. As part of JOURNEY 01: ROOTS /CIRCUITS, four international musicians spend a week in Tromsø exploring the city, its natural surroundings, cultural encounters and sonic environments.

Meanwhile, a group of local visual artists develops an exhibition responding to the project's themes: ROOTS, CIRCUITS, TRANSFORMATION and CONNECTION.

The musicians and visual artists work along parallel creative paths. The musicians do not experience the completed exhibition before its opening. On Friday, 6 November, these worlds meet for the first time.
