Tanhua is a guest scholar at the Center for Sámi Studies. She is a Finnish historian specialized on histories of Skolt Saami communities from 1920s to 1970s. She has worked with Sámi communities almost 15 years. Her post doc research is connected to a Finnish Settler Colonyn project funded by Kone Foundation. She is affiliated to University of Helsinki.
