The event “RAW: Resisting Extractivism Artist Talks and Exhibition Closing” will consist of short presentations by artists whose work is represented in the exhibition RAW: Resisting Extractivism currently taking place at Tromsø Museum.
The event will take place at the museum at 19:00 on Nov. 16 and will feature a panel discussion hosted by UiT stipendiat Ellen Marie Jensen and including local Sámi artist Hans Ragnar Mathisen.
In addition, Dutch artist Ingeborg Entrop will discuss her installation, which is a part of the exhibition.
Artists and researchers Lena Gudd & Antonin Pons Braley will close the evening by discussing their ongoing Archive of Norths, inviting to a multidisciplinary journey in between narration and documentation, in an attempt to map mental and geographical norths – how do we inhabit the Norths and how the Norths inhabit us?
