Outbound student exchange: summer school abroad
Summer school as an alternative to an exchange for a whole semester
If you are unable to go on an exchange for a whole semester, summer school abroad can be a good alternative. Why not use your summer holiday to study? You will gain learning and cultural experiences, which will contribute to a summer out of the ordinary. Don’t miss this excellent opportunity!
Most summer schools have a duration of 2-6 weeks and can earn credits. Some summer schools may be approved as part of your education at UIT The Arctic University of Norway. This must be clarified on a case by case basis with the Programme Coordinator of your programme of study. To have credits from the summer school approved by the programme at UiT, you must apply for an exchange in the normal manner: Apply for a student exchange .
The Norwegian Educational State Loan Fund can provide an educational scholarship if the summer school is approved as part of your programme of study at UiT. Several grant schemes provide financial support for summer courses: Funding and grant schemes..
