Welcome U.S. Fulbright applicants to Norway!

UiT offers many study options for US citizens as Fulbright scholars and students. We have a wide range of research projects, single modules and degree programmes taught in English and Norwegian, and the international environment in most our research and higher education units are English fluent for a successful study or research visit.

Requirements for Master's degrees & single modules

  1. Norwegian Higher Education Entrance Qualification
  2. Bachelor´s Degree Diploma or equivalent (please note: a minimum of C average is required for bachelor’s degree or equivalent obtained in Europe, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand)

Requirements for full degree programmes

Students who wish to enrol in a full degree programme with the Fulbright scholarship must apply to the programme within the given deadlines for international admissions at UiT.

Please note.
The U.S. - Norway Fulbright Foundation will notify the Office for Admissions or the International Cooperation Section at the UiT about which candidates are offered the scholarship. These students will be registered in UiT's Student Administration System
