Yakubu Princely Abudu er forsker i molekylærbiologi og fluorescens nanoskopi. Forskningen hans er fokusert på molekylære og cellulære mekanismer for selektiv autofagi og cellesignalering og deres samspill i nevrodegenerative sykdommer og kreftformer. Han er tilknyttet Autophagy Research Group, Institutt for medisinsk biologi og Nanoskopigruppen, Institutt for fysikk og teknologi, UiT-Norges Arktiske Universitet.
