Supervision of master's thesis in the field of international environmental law

I am a PhD Research Fellow at the Norwegian Centre for the Law of the Sea (NCLOS) and the Arctic University of Norway. My PhD project "Constructing a global legal response to marine plastic pollution" focuses on the marine plastic pollution problem and ways to combat the problem with international law and circular economy. I am passionate about the wellbeing of oceans and thus my research interests concern the protection of the marine environment.

Prior to joining the NCLOS/UiT, I have received a law degree from the University of Turku (Turku, Finland), and worked as a legal advisor for the Emissions Trading Team at the Finnish Energy Authority and as a legal advisor for the Finnish Tax Administration.
