CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - CloudEARTHi Conference/ Deep Tech impact on society and environment
A consortium led by the Technical University of Varna is hosting the third CloudEARTHi conference, emphasizing the crucial role of higher education in driving sustainability and innovation through deep tech. This conference, in line with the European Innovation Agenda, invites diverse insights on the intersection of deep tech, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Additionally, it will address sub-themes that align with the CloudEARTHi initiative’s goals, fostering a comprehensive discussion on leveraging technology for societal benefit.
This event underscores the importance of deep tech in fostering a better society and sustainability, aligning with the European Innovation Agenda. It underlines the pivotal role of higher education in encouraging sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation. Contributions that delve into the main theme or sub-themes are welcome, with a preference for interdisciplinary studies exploring deep tech, sustainability, and entrepreneurship through various methodological and theoretical lenses.

The event will take place from June 27th to June 29th, 2024, at the Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria.
To maximise the impacts and include all the stakeholders, we decided to plan the conference as a hybrid event. The hybrid format will allow all to contribute to the discussion regardless their busy agenda or limitation of their budget.
Our registration allows for online or in person participation. Conference registration and attendance are free of charge (Thanks for the European Union and the EIT HEI initiative).
Our aim is to maximise the impact as we can, therefore we invite students (master and B.Sc levels) to contribute. A special session for the students will be prepared in order to bring their ideas into the spotlight and allow discussion with policy makers, business leaders and academics.
