Take control of your PhD journey: Research data management
Research data are the foundation of research projects within most fields, as they allow us to confirm or draw new conclusions about a given subject. Further, good research data management and sharing is essential for scientific transparency and the increase and spread of knowledge.
This seminar is an introduction to best practices for research data management. This includes how to write a solid data management plan, how to structure, document, and preserve the data during the project, and, finally, how to archive and share the data in suitable repositories. Participants also receive information about the UiT institutional archive, UiT Open Research Data, as well as the Principles and guidelines for research data management at UiT, effective as of September 1st 2017.
This seminar is a freestanding part of the seminar series Take control of your PhD journey: From (p)reflection to publishing.
