The “PhD-school in Molecular and Structural Biology”, MSB, is an interfaculty initiative by the Faculty of Science and Technology and Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Tromsø. Administrated by the Norwegian Structural Biology Centre (NorStruct), MSB is a joint effort between research groups in molecular biomedicine, RNA-biology, computational and structural biology.

The PhD-school provides excellent training environments and facilities in functional genomics and modern molecular and structural biology. The PhD-school and the responsible research groups are providing projects within a wide range of biological and biomedical topics.
