The research group Centre for Care Research North is a leading research environment focused on health and care in municipalities. Our research contributes to creating sustainable solutions that are relevant to complex challenges in municipalities. 

In line with UiT The Arctic University of Norway's strategy Eallju, the research group is a driving force for knowledge development for and in the Arctic and northern areas.

The research group is part of the national network Centre for Care Research, which has a mandate from the MInistry of Health and Care Services to gather, produce, and disseminate knowledge about care and caregiving.
