Strengthen value creation and business development in the north
Create secure and sustainable logistics operations and industrial production
Arclog will be a leading national and Nordic technological center for safe and sustainable logistics operations and industrial production to strengthen value creation and business development in the north. This will be achieved by connecting academia, research institutions and relevant commercial partners/business actors to a common competence center, which together work purposefully with research and education for increased competence and competitiveness.
Last autumn, ArcLog conducted 3 EVU courses (continuing and further education courses) with the topics economics and innovation, industrial lean methodology for production and services and industry 4.0. In the future, we will regularly arrange new EVU courses with relevant topics. The continuing education courses provide credits, while the continuing education courses are more related to specific competence needs that are reported from companies or clusters of companies.
The department's laboratories are used in close collaboration with local and regional businesses. Both through subject-based projects, but also through student projects, research projects and development projects.
