IMPORTANT NOTICE
  • Nordic applicants with Nordic upper secondary school education SHOULD NOT apply as international applicants.
  • All foreign applicants with proof of Norwegian language proficiency on advanced level (Trinn 3 or Bergentest) SHOULD NOT apply as international applicants.
  • Norwegian citizens with non-Nordic upper secondary education can apply as international applicants.
  • Please go to "Who is an international applicant?" to apply as an ordinary applicant:

  • 1. FIND YOUR PROGRAMME

    Please ensure that:


    * You research the specific academic requirements in the Study Catalogue carefully

    * You can apply for ONLY TWO programmes of study


  • 2. ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION?

    Please read our general admission requirements to ensure that you meet all the eligibity criteria:


    * Norwegian Higher Education Entrance Qualification (GSU-list)

    * Proof of English Proficiency

    * Proof of financial ability

    * Average grade requirements fro master's level programmes

    Incomplete applications will be REFUSED.


  • 3. APPLY ONLINE

    Please ensure that:


    * You read UiT Application Guide (available 3 October)

    * You  UPLOAD all required documents by 1 December (all programmes). Contemporary Art, master: 1 March 2017

    * Only ELIGIBLE applicants will be allowed to proceed to the ONLINE APPLICATION WEB (SØKNADSWEB).

    Incomplete applications will be REFUSED.
