About

Anesthesia and critical care research group performs translational research with the focus on pathophysiological mechanisms and treatment in the acute and perioperative setting.

Clinical research topics include prehospital medicine, perioperative medicine, sepsis associated acute kidney injury, and pain management.

The experimental research platform includes a porcine model of sepsis associated acute kidney injury and various experimental in vitro models and techniques.
