Travelling to Älvdalen
The organizers will provide transportation from the airport of Oslo, Gardermoen (OSL), to Älvdalen by bus and transportation from Älvdalen back to the airport of Oslo, Gardermoen (OSL). The travelling time between Gardermoen and Älvdalen is estimated to less than five hours (the distance is approximately 330 km). This is the most convenient and (for the majority of the participants) most financially advantageous way to reach Älvdalen.
The bus will presumably leave Gardermoen at 2 pm on the 25th of August and it will go back from Älvdalen at 9 am on the 29th of August, which means that it should reach Gardermoen at 2 pm the same day.
For those who cannot come to Oslo or prefer not to do so there are a number of other options. Notice however that these are both time-consuming and quite expensive (e.g. the price for a single flight Malmö-Borlänge is 3000 SEK one way). Therefore, travelling by oneself should be considered only as an extra-ordinary option (unless one travels by train from Stockholm). Here are the five possible alternatives:
Alternative 1: Bus from Gardermoen to Älvdalen (recommended)
To Älvdalen (25th August 2009)

To Oslo Gardermoen (29th August 2009)
Departure from Älvdalen 09.00, arrival in Oslo Gardermoen the same day at 14.00.
Alternative 2: Train Stockholm C – Mora C (via Borlänge), then bus from Mora to Älvdalen (economical)

There are two airlines operating between Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Borlänge (BLE). However, there is no connection back to Stockholm from Borlänge on Saturdays and Sundays.
