Doping & Anti-Doping Policy

Drug use is considered as a major problem in elite sport. Using different theories and methods from sociology and history, the project aims to enhance our understanding of doping and anti-doping policy. Important topics include the development of anti-doping policy, political and organisational aspects of anti-doping policy, the scandalization of doping in the media, deceptive communication about doping, doping confession and whistleblowing about doping.
