BlueGov (PhD project)

The main objective of this project is to understand the processes and practices that make governable marine and coastal spaces in a time were the blue economy paradigm rationalises increased industrialisation of these spaces. Key questions are: how are governmentalities shaped between those who participate in marine governance, and how do they negotiate outcomes to achieve governability? A central contribution will be the production of updated and relevant knowledge about the performative and material effects of contemporary governance in the blue economy era.
