SAM and NAD are novel switches in the mTOR network
Background: The PI3K-mTOR kinase network is a metabolic control hub, known to be regulated by phosphorylation and acetylation. We have identified mTOR regulatory proteins that also can be methylated or parylated. Objectives:(1) Investigate enzymes mediation acetylation, methylation and parylation, thereby linking the mTOR network and metabolism (2) Identify the role of hub molecules on mTOR signalling (3) Unravel the interplay of methylation, ADP ribosylation and acetylation in mTOR signalling
