Environmental Physiotherapy Agenda 2027 - Sustainable healthcare and planetary health education across the curriculum

The EPT Agenda 2027 aims at the cross-curricular implementation of planetary health, environmental, and sustainability education into physiotherapy training around the world. Where the EPT Agenda 2023 worked on the identification of starting points for this same purpose, this second phase will look to connect the dots between them such that sustainability and planetary health can become cross-cutting elements of international physiotherapy education.

The EPT Agenda 2027 builds on the success of the EPT Agenda 2023, the initial phase of our international effort to introduce planetary health, environmental, and sustainability education into physiotherapy training around the world. While the focus of the EPT Agenda 2023 was simply to make a start at integrating EPT education into physiotherapy training, we are setting our ambitions at transversal integration across the physiotherapy curriculum during this second phase.
