Image caption Environmental Physiotherapy

Environmental physiotherapy represents a long-term effort to implement environmental awareness and responsibility in physiotherapy research, practice, and education. The development of environmental physiotherapy is spearheaded by the Environmental Physiotherapy Association (EPA) led by Dr Filip Maric. The EPA is a network of more than 1200 physiotherapy clinicians, academics, students, and professional representatives seeking to explore the complex relationships between health, physiotherapy, our natural environment, and society at large.

Members from the EPA and our research group are leading the international development of research, education, and practice in environmental physiotherapy, as well as the implementation of sustainable healthcare and planetary in physiotherapy and other healthcare professions.
