The IoT-to-Extreme-Edge Infrastructure

The goal of the project is to simplify research and teaching on cyber-physical and IoT systems by establishing an infrastructure making the creation and experimentation of nodes and systems of nodes simpler and faster.

A significantly updated project was submitted as a pre-sketch to the 2023 infrastructure call by the Research Council of Norway. Following the RCN advice to all pre-applicants to seek collaborations, the CPS group and the eX-C3 project headed by SIMULA decided to merge and submit together to the final infrastructure call by the RCN.
