Voluntary work is an area of priority in the politics of elderly care. We want to contribute to developing culturally sensitive knowledge on voluntarism, inclusion, and quality of life in future-oriented elderly care.
The project comprises several small interventions in close collaboration with the local health and care and cultural workers.
Songs and music are important elements in this work. UiT The Artic University of Norway, also has special responsibility for the elderly Sàmi population in Northern Norway
