Public Health Nurse Education and Career transition
This project seeks to understand the motivations that encourage Public Health Nurses (PHNs) to remain in their roles, the challenges they encounter, and the factors that influence their decisions to exit the profession for alternative career opportunities.
Numerous studies have investigated the reasons behind nurses transitioning between jobs.
However, there is a limited focus on studies specifically targeting PHNs.
Methods
Study 1 is a quantitative cross-sectional study.
Study 2 is a qualitative study utilizing focus group interviews.
