Grand Meeting 2006 in Solf

Travel information

Solf is very close to the city of Vaasa on the west coast of Finland, and it is even closer to the airport of the city (about 7 km). Most participants at the meeting are likely to arrive by plane. Besides frequent direct connections to Helsinki there are also about four daily direct connections between Stockholm and Vaasa. (Up until very recently there was a direct connection between Copenhagen and Vaasa, but this route has unfortunately just been shut down (April 2006).)

Vaasa can also be reached by train from Helsinki (about four and a half hours, sometimes with change of trains in Seinäjoki) and other Finnish cities. See the homepage of the Finnish State Railways for more information.
