Grand Meeting 2008 at Sandbjerg

Practical information

It's recommended that you travel to Sønderborg by train from Copenhagen (either CPH airport or the Main Station). On the arrival day Sunday 24 a bus transfer will be provided for the following two train connections (seat reservations are strongly recommended):

From CPH airport at 12.56 (dep. Copenhagen Main Station 13.30), arr. Sønderborg 17.19.
From CPH airport at 14.56 (dep. Copenhagen Main Station 15.30), arr. Sønderborg 19.19.

On the departure day Thursday 28 a bus transfer will be provided for the following two train connections from Sønderborg:

07.57 (arr. Copenhagen Central Station 1153, arr. Copenhagen Airport 1215).
09.57 (arr. Copenhagen Central Station 1353, arr. Copenhagen Airport 1415)

Flight tickets should be booked accordingly.

There is also an airport in Sønderborg which lies about 7 km from the city and about 14 km from Sandbjerg. If you can get reasonably priced tickets to this airport, flying all the way is also an option. Sønderborg is otherwise a good 4 hour train ride from Hamburg (Germany), with two change of trains required.
