2006 Grand Meeting

Day 0: Arrivals in Solf (outside Vaasa) in the afternoon; welcoming address by Jan-Ola Östman in the evening.

Day 1: Brief status report of the project; two lectures before lunch on the main topic of the meeting (‘Dialects and syntactic theories’); workshop for PhD students and young researchers after lunch.

Day 2: Third lecture on the main topic and group work before lunch, presentations from the Italian and Dutch/European sister projects after lunch; excursion to Söderfjärden, Vaasa, and Replot, and dinner in Malax.

Day 3: Presentation of results from the Icelandic sub-project and presentation of the Faroese project to be conducted in Edinburgh; group work continued; presentations of the NORMS field work in Northern Ostrobothnia after lunch plus presentation and discussion of group work. Closing dinner at Stundars.
