Network activities

– An annual Grand Meeting (Stormøte)

2005: 50 participants gathered in Leikanger, Norway, for a three day program in August. The NordForsk network grant covered 3 participants from each of the 12 network groups (=36)

2006: 36 participants gathered in Solf, Finland, for a three day program in June. The network grant covered 2 participants from each of the 12 nodes (=24).

2007: Some 60 participants will meet in Mývatn, Iceland, for a four day program. The network grant will cover two participants from each of the 12 nodes.

2005: Network meeting for the Faroese part of the project; 1 from NO and 1 from UK covered by network, 4 from Iceland covered by Icelandic project money.

2006: Network meeting in Lund to discuss common transcription standards, with members from all nine core groups present.
