This training involves regulations, responsibilities, preventive measures and risk assessments

Objective of the course

The course presents UiT`s HSE regulations which apply to fieldwork and sea expeditions including specific rules for outdoors research activities on Svalbard. After the course you will be familiar with of the conditions essential for assessing risk when working in the field and on board a research vessel. The training needs to be completed before you engeage in fieldwork or sea -going expeditions.
