Course contents

Society and the business community are increasingly demanding practical skills and experience in problem-solving, idea development, and teamwork. This course provides an in-depth exploration of entrepreneurial processes in new ventures, including how to identify and develop business opportunities, as well as the strategies entrepreneurs can—and should—use to capitalize on them.

Students will gain a comprehensive introduction to fundamental entrepreneurship by examining theories and real-world case studies on launching and growing a successful startup. This involves analyzing critical factors that position entrepreneurs as key societal actors, along with the strategic processes and decisions surrounding market entry, product and service innovation, financing, distribution, and commercialization.

Over the semester, groups of four students will create a business plan for a student-led startup. They will leverage their knowledge to pinpoint a specific problem or niche market and devise an innovative solution. Throughout the process, students receive guidance on developing a business model and preparing to launch their own venture.
